How Do You View Life

I didn’t want to write much for this post, nothing more needs to be said that Jonathan has not said in the image.

Flatter me, Criticize me, Ignore me, Encourage me

“Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.” – William Arthur Ward

There are many people in my life that I will never forget, those who hurt me and those who moved me with inspiration and encouragement. We chose our interactions with everyone we come in contact with.

It’s our choice how we impact others and what mark we will leave.

Continue to Grow

Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mastery should never feel it has been achieved, even the top pro athletes strive to reach new levels of accomplishments in their careers. If you believe you have arrived at the finish line in anything your growth has stopped, never stop growing and more importantly never dismiss an opportunity for transformation. I am not who I was yesterday and I am not who I will become tomorrow.

Just Love

The end of 2015 is approaching; I have had quite a wild year, ups and downs, lost and found connections and a chance to finally say I am not afraid of anything anymore. I hope to bring in the new year differently in 2016, not to spend so much time in the future, let go of the past and open my eyes to what I have right here right now. I have another example of how my faith has not failed me…

I am learning to accept that the crazy changes in life are going to happen whether we plan for them or not. People get sick, friends drift apart, loved ones decease and divorce is sometimes a part of life and there’s nothing you can do about any of it. Through my hardships over the last year I see that life is so fragile, precious and can change in the blink of an eye. I am looking forward to new beginnings and to live today as positively and abundantly as I can.

To live is to experience ambivalence to the fullest, good and bad can exist at the same time, not everything is black or white and life can always be rebuilt. A positive outlook will get you farther than good intentions and best of all let the little crap in life go; Life is too short to worry about the little things, love without reluctance and understanding and we all have struggles of our own and are on our own journeys.

“That is what learning is, you suddenly understand something you’ve understood all your life, but in a new way”. – Doris Lessing

I can relate to this one..

There are so many things in life I knew for certain, only to find out nothing is for certain and everything you “know” changes eventually.

Thank God, who would want a predictable and pre-written life anyway. Recently I have learned that staying positive about a seemingly negative circumstance brings far more forward movement than responding negatively towards it.

I also fail far more than I would like to admit, that is also learning.

Simply Write

My focus is on my life, the good, the bad, the failures and the sucess. I write what my heart leads me to write, some may like it others might not. Either way it’s my creative mind and heart that is being spilled into my writing. My passion to live and strive to be better one word at a time.

Comfort Zone

This is the struggle we all have.

The balance between what is right for our lives that is of God and what seems to be right in our lives despite God. Far too many know the word, can articulate well and have a way of leading that is contagious yet fail to connect others with what God has planned. When the plans we have and the plans God intends for our lives meet, that is where life begins.

No growth happens in or comfort zone.
